Catalyx is seeking a Technology Team Administrator to join our team and work on our customer site in Cramlington.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced regulated environment. This position would suit someone with strong administrative or coordination experience who enjoys working across technical teams and ensuring compliance, documentation and scheduling activities are executed efficiently.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate calibration, preventative maintenance and repair activities for laboratory equipment.

  • Liaise with external service providers and internal stakeholders to schedule and track service activities.

  • Maintain accurate equipment records, service documentation and compliance-related records.

  • Ensure all maintenance and calibration activities are completed and documented in accordance with GMP and Quality Management System requirements.

  • Support the preparation of compliance metrics, service reports and periodic performance reviews.

  • Act as a key point of contact for laboratory equipment-related queries and service requests.

  • Assist with contract administration, supplier coordination and service escalations where required.

  • Support SAP-related administration activities including service scheduling and record updates.

  • Maintain equipment inventories, asset registers and spare parts records.

  • Coordinate routine maintenance activities and ensure schedules are maintained.

  • Ensure calibration status of tools and test equipment is monitored and maintained.

  • Promote compliance with GMP, safety and housekeeping standards across all activities.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, coordinator or support role within a regulated environment.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.

  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Comfortable working with external vendors and cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, laboratory or other GMP-regulated environments would be advantageous.

  • Knowledge of SAP or other maintenance management systems is desirable.

  • Awareness of validation, change control and compliance processes would be beneficial.
