Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of strategic Engineering projects on time, on budget & in accordance with all project & business Safety & Quality goals.Scope new projects, estimate costs, secure Capital approval & manage project budgetsAccountable for project schedule, progress reporting & Risk ManagementProject Resource ManagementUpdate & influence management and project stakeholders as requiredCoordination of project interfaces with other projects and departmentsCoordination of and interfaces with third parties (suppliers, customers, service providers, etc.)Oversee Design, Construction and Commissioning and Qualification activities throughout project lifecycle.Ensure completion of project documentation per GDP requirementsCompletion of projects in accordance with Management ProceduresOrganization & coordination of project meetings and appointmentsRetrospective project performance review vs project goals and lessons learned.Participate in and lead Cross-Functional teams as necessary.Ensures that excellent interdepartmental relationships are maintained with all other Company depts.Lead by example and strive to perform to high standards at all times.

Responsible and accountable for assuring the safe completion of job activities, following good environmental practices and procedures. Commit to and demonstrate safe behavior in every activity.Perform all activities in compliance with corporate and cGMP/EHS regulatory requirements.Compliance with Engineering and general site procedures at all timesCompletion of all documentation in compliance with site procedures and GDPPrioritize and schedule activities to support business needsEnsure that personal training requirements are completed in compliance with site procedures.Support ongoing studies by Operations, Quality Validation, MSAT, Facilities and other support functions.Support external site visits as required for project related activities.Carry out routine and non-routine tasks delegated by the Manager according to appropriate procedures, values and standards.


Requirements:

Third level qualification in Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Science.At least 8 years experience in industry of which not less than 3 years in pharma/medical device industry & 3 years in a project management role.Experience of delivering engineering projects within a GMP regulated environment.

API manufacturing experienceQualification in Project ManagementExperience of Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookExperience of SAP, LIM’s and/or other business systems6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem solving/decision making methodology trainingExperience of working within an Engineer team in a multinational corporate environment.
