Catalyx is seeking a Sales Executive to join our team in Cork with a focus on the Irish market.

The Role :
The purpose of the role is to generate new business, develop existing accounts and achieve sales targets in the Irish Market. The company has a significant presence within many of the top Life Sciences companies which provides the opportunity to leverage these accounts for further sales and provide a significant reference base to win new sales in new accounts. The Company has a compelling business model, strong differentiation and tremendous long-term growth prospects.
Responsibilities :
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the Pharma/ Life Sciences industry.
Understand customer needs and provide solutions that align with their objectives for process improvement / cost saving/ increased compliance.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales campaigns for each of the key European markets.
Monitor competitive activity to identify opportunities and challenges.
Working with our Customer Success Team to prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to prospective customers.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports as part of the reporting rhythm of the Company.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met in line with the requirements they established in the sales process.
Skills and Experience :
At least 5 years of solid engineering / process automation sales experience in the Life Sciences sector
A ‘can do’ attitude with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication, networking and relationship building skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as required.
An ethical approach to conducting business internally and externally.
