Catalyx is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and work on our customer site in Cork. This role will operate on a 4-cycle 24/7 shift pattern.

The Role:

The role involves performing maintenance and repairs of automated pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. Partner with the Manufacturing team to deliver & support day to day operations within manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
Resolve day-to-day Engineering issues and advice regarding compliance queries.
Support the Continuous Improvement process by passionately seeking ways to improve equipment performance and reliability E.g., OEE
Work on routine assignments following established SOPs and cGMPs.
Maintain and review existing maintenance tasks and procedures to ensure they are up to date and accurate.
Report accurately on all equipment downtime.
Coordinate maintenance on critical systems / equipment with Manager.
Complie with all safety regulations.
Perform planned maintenance activities and is responsible for updating the CMMS system accordingly.
Partner with a team of Engineering and maintenance personnel which shall include external contractors.
Requirements:
Leaving Certificate and Trades Certificate along with a minimum 5 years of relevant GMP experience or equivalent.
Proven maintenance experience in a regulated automated manufacturing environment.
Demonstrates knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment operations, process manufacturing, OEE, MTBF, and root cause failure analysis supporting an equipment reliability centred maintenance program.
Effectively participates in cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in Food, biotech, or pharmaceutical Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Operations.
