Catalyx is seeking a Lab Systems Integration Specialist to join our team and work on our customer site in Cork.

The Role:

The Laboratory Systems Integration Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring reliability and compliance of Laboratory Systems. The successful candidate will be part of the Quality Control Lab Services Team which will support the activities of both new and ongoing projects. This is a hybrid role.


Responsibilities:

  • Organise and implement the integration of laboratory systems, including applications, operating systems, data management, backup solutions and system interfaces.

  • Author, review and approve detailed documentation for laboratory systems.

  • Support the validation of laboratory systems.

  • Participate in risk assessments relating to laboratory systems and projects.

  • Work closely with internal teams, vendors and other stakeholders, building effective partnerships across different functions.

  • Manage activities across multiple short and long-term projects and changing priorities.

  • Work in accordance with applicable data integrity and regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11.


What we would like from you:

  • Experience within a GMP, regulated or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

  • Exposure to QC laboratory systems would be useful.

  • Project-based experience would be beneficial.

  • Attention to detail is very important

  • Willingness to understand and follow complex non-intuituve processes is essential

  • Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

  • A level 8 degree in Engineering, IT, Science, Mathematics, Business or another relevant discipline.
