We are seeking a Junior Engineer to support packaging equipment operations. This role is well-suited to someone early in their engineering career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in maintenance systems, equipment support, and project work within a GMP-regulated environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop Equipment Spare parts management system in collaboration with Maintenance Team

  • Source & identify equipment spare parts with appropriate equipment vendors

  • Collaborating with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks

  • Review current PM tasks and schedules in line with equipment downtime trends to identify & implement changes to improve equipment up time.

  • Implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment

  • Complete site change management activities for the modification of equipment

  • Support cross-functional in-house and external project team

  • Ensure there is a strong safety culture and performance in the execution of activities.

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in a relevant science / engineering discipline

  • Experience in technical role

  • Experience in Packaging Equipment an advantage.

  • Data analytics

  • Experience in working in cross functional teams and in a GMP Manufacturing Environment

  • Understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements of the Pharmaceutical industry

  • Strong understanding of the principles of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

  • 2-3 years (minimum) of engineering experience within a Pharmaceutical environment.
