Catalyx are seeking a Training Coordinator to design, coordinate, and deliver engaging training programmes that support employee development, operational excellence, and workplace safety on our customer site in Longford.


The ideal candidate will have experience in training coordination and programme development, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a good understanding of health and safety requirements within operational, engineering, construction, or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop training materials that address operational, technical, and safety-related requirements.

  • Assist in promoting compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and company safety procedures.

  • Assist with training-related requirements for audits, inspections, and accreditation processes, including ISO management systems where applicable.

  • Promote a positive safety culture by encouraging employee engagement and awareness of health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.

  • Create engaging content for classroom, practical, and online learning.

  • Ensure all training materials are aligned with organisational objectives, company values, and regulatory requirements.

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate training programmes for employees, contractors, and external stakeholders.

  • Manage training logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, venue preparation, training records, and participant enrolment.

  • Facilitate training sessions in both individual and group settings, using practical and interactive methods to maximise learning outcomes.

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees to assist with the application of training in day-to-day operations.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for training-related queries and support requests.

  • Maintain training matrices, competency records, certifications, and compliance documentation.

  • Monitor mandatory training requirements and ensure training completion remains up to date.

  • Assess training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, competency evaluations, and performance metrics.

  • Continuously review and improve training content, delivery methods, and learning resources based on feedback and organisational needs.

  • Maintain training records to support compliance with company standards and relevant regulatory requirements.


Requirements:

  • Qualification in Training & Development, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a training coordination, learning and development, technical training, or similar role.

  • Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, utilities, or other operational environments desirable.

  • Knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and workplace compliance requirements.

  • Experience designing, coordinating, and delivering training programmes.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
