Catalyx is seeking a Mechatronics Engineering Graduate to join our team in Cork. Some element of Travel will be required for this role.

The Role:
Catalyx is a trusted partner in delivering world-class lifecycle services to regulated and high-risk end markets. As part of this commitment, we are continuously developing our on-site teams to support the advancement of customer operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, testing, and deployment of vision-based automation systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to enhance packaging automation solutions.
Develop and optimize control algorithms for automated processes.
Support the integration of AI-powered vision technologies into production lines.
Conduct system troubleshooting, performance analysis, and improvements.
Assist in documentation, reporting, and presentations of technical solutions.
Sporadically Travel to Catalyx and customer sites based in the UK and Mainland Europe.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of automation systems, control theory, and mechanical design.
Understanding of machine vision, image processing, or AI-driven vision systems would be an advantage.
Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
Full, Clean Irish / EU Driving License.
