Catalyx is seeking an EHS Specialist to join our team and work on our customer site in Cork.

The Role:

Catalyx is a trusted partner in delivering world-class lifecycle services to regulated and high-risk end markets. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading EHS investigations and communications on a client site.

  • Accountable for the complete EHS life cycle, including identifying issues, completing investigations and applicable follow up reporting.

  • Meet with client EHS team to ensure alignment.

  • Ensure all stakeholders are informed and aware of their EHS obligations.

  • Act as key support player in investigations to support EHS requirements.

  • Liaise closely with the client team to ensure full EHS & Operational success.

  • Organize associated training as appropriate and any other related information requirements.

  • Present monthly, upon request, to the client site team on current/forecasted EHS metrics and align with business requirements. This will include KPI’s that are agreed and in place.

  • Conduct ad-hoc walkdowns of the operational areas to ensure that EHS standards are met.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in a scientific, engineering or similar technical discipline.

  • 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Life Sciences industry experience is essential.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
